Questions Help

Thank you for using our Ask a Question service. We have developed this page in order to help you understand how our Ask a Question service works. Here you will also find a step-by-step descriptive process in order to help you take full advantage of our Ask a Question service.

Understanding "Ask a Question"

AdvisorCentre provides this function as a service to our website visitors who have financial questions and would like a registered financial advisor to help provide an answer. Feel free to ask any question. If it fits into one of the categories that we already have, it will be placed into its appropriate category. If we don’t have a category already that suits your question, we will create one.

Ask a Question was designed to give website visitors the ability to directly communicate with an advisor. All questions and answers provided are for informational purposes only and are subject to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.

After you submit your own question, you will receive an email notifying you that your question has been submitted to our advisors. Your question will NOT appear on our website for you to see until after an advisor answers it.

In order to best utilize the Ask a Question service, please follow the steps as outlines below.

  1. Before you post a question, it is a good idea to look through our category tree of subjects and search for a question of a similar nature. You may find that a question similar to the one your have may already have been asked and answered.
  2. If you don’t find a similar question already posted, or you are not satisfied with what you have found, then feel free to use our Ask a Question form to post your own question to an advisor. Once you submit your question, it will be available to our advisors for them to answer if they can.
  3. Once your question has been answered, you will receive an email notifying you with a link back to our site.
